Cork Film Festival launched it’s 59th film festival programme last night (7 Oct 2014). The jam packed programme includes over 100 films and a range of music and other events. Arts + Minds and the HSE Cork Mental Health Services are delighted to have been involved in the development of Illuminate, an exciting new series of film and discursive events that explore the area of mental health.
Films in the Illuminate series include Out of Mind, Out of Sight, Rocks in my Pockets, Patrick’s Day and Disappearing Act. Panelists will include Film Director John Kastner, Dr. Ivor Browne, Dr. Pat Bracken, Prof. Harry Kennedy, Gretta Crowley, Dylan Tighe and many more. The Festival takes place between Nov 7 and 16. Illuminate will take place over 4 days from Wed 12 to Sat 15 at Triskel Christchurch. A+M will post more information about Illuminate over the next couple of weeks.
